The AMLY Wildflower Meadow in Summer

With the expansiveness of summer in full bloom, there’s nothing more enchanting than watching the wildflowers spread in great drifts across our ancient meadow, until it’s transformed into a breath-taking blend of colours, floral scents, and soft grasses.

Protecting the Land

A well-preserved wildflower meadow provides habitat to a myriad of species from bees and butterflies, to grasshoppers and crickets, as well as offering an essential support system for animals, and a medicine chest bursting with healing botanicals for us.

With only 2% of indigenous wildflower meadows still in existence, at AMLY we consider it a huge honour to be custodians of this ancient land. From generation to generation its’ been lovingly preserved, and to this day remains in its natural state and completely untouched by pesticides.

Protecting Your Skin

We’re in a unique position to be able to work so closely with the family of healing botanicals and plants that flourish here at the farm. The purity of the soil they grow in means we can harness their full healing potential from petal to root, blending them with plant-based bio-actives to create sustainable beauty products that support and enhance your skin with every drop.

Awakening the Senses Through Nature

From our signature Radiance Boost Face Mist to our new Purifying Hand Mist Hand Sanitiser, our holistic skincare range is carefully crafted to nourish and protect your skin, while enchanting your senses with fresh floral tones that lift spirits and enliven the senses.

How does the Meadow flower its bloom unfold? Because the lovely little flower is free down to its root, and in that freedom bold.

From Our Doorstep to Yours

At AMLY Botanicals we’re deeply connected to the plants we work with and the medicine they offer. As summer continues to unfold, we’d like to throw open a window into our botanical world and introduce you to some of the treasured plants that grow here. They’re so much more than skincare ingredients, they’re part of our story and part of our family.

Some of our star botanical ingredients

Mallow

The humble mallow with its pale purple flowers is an absolute medicinal powerhouse. Internally it’s a folk remedy for coughs and sore throats. We use it in our Meadow Dew Bio-Fermented Facial Essence because it works gently against irritation and inflammation. It is deeply moisturizing, soothing, plumping, and smoothing for the skin. Containing mitigating mucilage, it supports wound-healing processes, soothes sun-damaged skin, reduces puffiness, and even reduces small wrinkles.

Yarrow

Yarrow is as protective herb and was traditionally hung at the threshold of homes to ward off negative energy.
Yarrow Oil is known as the ‘Master Healer’, we use it in our City Screen Protective Face Serum to improve the complexion while tightening skin pores.

Chamomile

As a tea, chamomile eases anxiety, aids digestion, and promotes restful sleep. Externally, calming Chamomile is antibacterial, antiseptic, and anti-inflammatory and also has soothing qualities. It’s a perfect complement for our AMLY Natural Hand Sanitiser and our Meadow Dew Bio-Fermented Facial Essence.

Echinacea Purpurea

A relative of the daisy, the pink and purple flowers of echinacea are a delight to any meadow and contain an impressive variety of active compounds. It’s widely known for its immune-boosting qualities. We’re absolutely devoted to it and use it in our Beauty Sleep Face Mist, Nocturnal Nectar Bio-Fermented Facial Essence, and City Screen Protective Face Serum. It boasts high concentrations of Cichoric Acid, which is scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles and skin redness. It also stimulates high levels of Hyaluronic Acid production as well as activating Sirtuin, a skin protein that protects cells from dying.
